In an effort to decongest facilities and limit exposure of people living with HIV (PLHIV) to COVID-19, national programs should prioritize scaling access to multi-month dispensing (MMD) of anti retrovirals (ARVs) to stable patients. MMD will ensure PLHIV minimize time spent at facilities and ensure healthcare workers (HCWs) focus efforts towards more complicated HIV (or eventually COVID-19) cases. This memo focuses on scaling MMD access to stable PLHIV.
